About Us

Welcome fellow golfers.

As the owner of Birdieman Custom Clubs it is my privilege to welcome you to our online Golf Shop. We’re excited that you chose to shop with us and we hope you feel at home browsing in our store.

Between caddying as a youth and playing this wonderfully frustrating game, (I am a golf fanatic and play weekly whether in my men’s league or with friends and family who teasingly refer to me as the Birdieman) I have been involved with golf for most of my life. But it wasn’t until my daughter started playing that I was introduced to custom clubs. Off the rack clubs were just not going to work for her and so we had her custom fit and a custom set built. It was then that I became absolutely obsessed with club making and the fitting process. I started reading everything that I could find on the subject, I attended club-making classes and eventually took and passed the accreditation exam through the Golf Clubmakers Association (GCA). I built her clubs for her high school and college golf careers and still do to this day. The care and attention to detail that I put into her clubs is the same care and attention to detail that I will put into your clubs.

I began building clubs and doing club repair for friends and family. Interest grew and before long I was doing club repair for a local golf course and high school golf team. That was the beginning of Birdieman Custom Clubs.
